Abbotsford’s Alison Testroete and Whistler’s Will Routley may have had different motivators as they rode into Canada Day’s Yaletown Grand Prix.
For Testroete it was simply a matter of maintaining the momentum she had gained when she won the women’s road race at last weekend’s Canadian championships in St. Georges de Beauce, Quebec.
For Routley it was about getting a little redemption after a disappointing weekend at nationals.
