Our modern-day Flash Gordon, a.k.a. Brad Huff, has taken first place twice this weekend at the newest edition to the NRC, the Tulsa Tough in Oklahoma. This triple criterium race began Friday, May 29 with a night-crit in Tulsa, on a figure-eight course. This proved beneficial for the Jelly Belly squad as the technical turns allowed them to protect their Midwestern sprinter until the end. Saturday’s crit included a 300-meter sprint on an L-shaped course. Again, Jelly Belly’s competitors played right into its trap, letting the skills of the JB squad show the rest of the racers what winning really looks like.
Sunday’s third and final criterium is touted as extremely technical by race organizers. Stayed tuned to see how the Flash performs on this course in the final day of the Tulsa Tough.
