Nick Reistad showcased his underrated climbing skills as he dominated the Mountains classification over six stages of the Nature Valley Grand Prix in Minnesota. He ended the race with 24 points (the closest competitor had 11), earned the Sport Beans King of the Hill Jersey on the second stage and with some strong help from his teammates, defended it for the duration of the race. “In the team meeting the night before the Nature Valley GP started, Danny encouraged me to go after the Sport Beans KOH jersey,” said Nick. “It’s a nice gesture to our sponsors to win this jersey to show our appreciation for their support. The team really supported me well in the going for the sprints, giving me all the protection I needed.”
Nick celebrated by tossing Sport Beans to the fans in attendance.
