I just wanted to drop a quick note on how wonderful your team was at the Tour De Georgia. By far, the nicest and friendliest team there. We taking pics of our three kids in front of your team car at the TTT, and one of your staff went out of his way to get the kids some of the team water bottles. Then at the start in Blairsville, same thing, bottles and even a cycling hat for the kids. How awesome. Even we were riding our bikes towards Neels Gap Sunday morning, when the team cars went by, you gave us a beep and a wave. No other team did that!
So you now have one huge Jelly Belly Cycling Team fan. Keep up the great work!

Another great time at the Tour de Georgia is over for 2008. Once again, Team Jelly Belly was by far my favorite squad. Got a chance to talk with Matty Rice before the Braselton stage, and also cheered him up Brasstown as he held off Danny Pate and the Broom Wagon! Matty always takes the time to talk to fans and he’s quite the representative for Jelly Belly and what it means to be a pro bike racer. Looking forward to seeing the Jelly Belly team later in the year (perhaps at Elk Grove or Downer’s Grove this fall). Best wishes for a great season! Matty…I took some good pics of you on Brasstown…is there a way to send them to you? Take care and congratulations for making the Top 100 this year in Georgia! I know you had better results in 2005 and 2006, but overall I think you had another outstanding effort this year.
